<P><STRONG><FONT size=4>武丁即位之初，得到甘盤的大力輔助，據記載：「在武丁時，則有若甘盤」，孔安國傳：「高宗(武丁)即位，甘盤佐之，後有傅說」。</FONT></STRONG></P>

<P><STRONG><FONT size=4>據今本《竹書紀年》記載：小乙六年，命世子武丁居于河，學于甘盤。</FONT></STRONG></P>

<P><STRONG><FONT size=4>武丁即位後，「居殷，命卿士甘盤」。</FONT></STRONG></P>

<P><STRONG><FONT size=4>這些記載均說明甘盤爲武丁初期的一位名相，武丁即位後不幾年他便故去了。</FONT></STRONG></P>
