<P align=left><STRONG><FONT size=4>胸中常覺滿悶發熱，或旬日，或浹辰之間，必大喘一兩日。</FONT></STRONG></P>

<P align=left><STRONG><FONT size=4>醫者用清火理氣之藥，初服稍效，久服轉增劇。後愚診視，脈沉細幾不可見。</FONT></STRONG></P>

<P align=left><STRONG><FONT size=4>病家問︰系何病因？愚曰︰此乃心肺陽虛，不能宣通脾胃，以致多生痰飲也。</FONT></STRONG></P>

<P align=left><STRONG><FONT size=4>人之脾胃屬土，若地輿然。</FONT></STRONG></P>
<P align=left><STRONG><FONT size=4></FONT></STRONG> </P>
<P align=left><STRONG><FONT size=4>心肺居臨其上正當太陽部位（膈上屬太陽，觀《傷寒論》太陽篇自知），其陽氣宣通，若日麗中天暖光下照。</FONT></STRONG></P>

<P align=left><STRONG><FONT size=4>而胃中所納水穀，實借其陽氣宣通之力，以運化精微而生氣血，傳送渣滓而為二便。</FONT></STRONG></P>

<P align=left><STRONG><FONT size=4>清升濁降，痰飲何由而生？惟心肺陽虛，不能如離照當空，脾胃即不能借其宣通之力，以運化傳送，於是飲食停滯胃口，若大雨之後，陰霧連旬，遍地污淖，不能干滲，則痰飲生矣。</FONT></STRONG></P>

<P align=left><STRONG><FONT size=4>痰飲既生，日積月累，郁滿上焦則作悶，漬滿肺竅則作喘，阻遏心肺陽氣，不能四布則作熱。</FONT></STRONG></P>

<P align=left><STRONG><FONT size=4>醫者不識病源，猶用涼藥清之，勿怪其久而增劇也。</FONT></STRONG></P>

<P align=left><STRONG><FONT size=4>遂為製此湯，服之一劑，心中熱去，數劑後轉覺涼甚。</FONT></STRONG></P>

<P align=left><STRONG><FONT size=4>遂去白芍，連服二十餘劑，胸次豁然，喘不再發。</FONT></STRONG></P>

<P align=left><STRONG><FONT size=4>偶服礞石滾痰丸有效，遂日日服之。</FONT></STRONG></P>

<P align=left><STRONG><FONT size=4>初則飲食加多，繼則飲食漸減，後則一日不服，即不能進飲食。</FONT></STRONG></P>

<P align=left><STRONG><FONT size=4>又久服之。</FONT></STRONG></P>
<P align=left><STRONG><FONT size=4></FONT></STRONG> </P>
<P align=left><STRONG><FONT size=4>竟分毫無效，日僅一餐，進食少許，猶不能消化。</FONT></STRONG></P>

<P align=left><STRONG><FONT size=4>且時覺熱氣上騰，耳鳴欲聾，始疑藥不對証。</FONT></STRONG></P>

<P align=left><STRONG><FONT size=4>求愚延醫，其脈象浮大，按之甚軟。</FONT></STRONG></P>

<P align=left><STRONG><FONT size=4>愚曰︰此証心肺陽虛，脾胃氣弱，為服苦寒攻瀉之藥太過，故病証脈象如斯也。</FONT></STRONG></P>

<P align=left><STRONG><FONT size=4>擬治以理飲湯。</FONT></STRONG></P>

<P align=left><STRONG><FONT size=4>病家謂，從前醫者，少用桂附，即不能容受，恐難再用熱藥。</FONT></STRONG></P>

<P align=left><STRONG><FONT size=4>愚曰︰桂附原非正治心肺脾胃之藥，況又些些用之，病重藥輕，宜其不受。</FONT></STRONG></P>

<P align=left><STRONG><FONT size=4>若拙擬理飲湯，與此証針芥相投，服之必無他變。</FONT></STRONG></P>

<P align=left><STRONG><FONT size=4>若畏此藥，不敢輕服，單用乾薑五錢，試服亦可。</FONT></STRONG></P>

<P align=left><STRONG><FONT size=4>病家依愚言，煎服乾薑後，耳鳴即止，須臾覺胸次開通。</FONT></STRONG></P>
