<P align=left><STRONG>傷寒六七日，頭疼惡寒，心中發熱，咳吐粘涎。</STRONG></P>

<P align=left><STRONG>至暮尤寒熱交作，兼眩暈，心中之熱亦甚。</STRONG></P>
<P align=left><STRONG></STRONG> </P>
<P align=left><STRONG>其脈浮弦，重按有力，大便五日未行。</STRONG></P>
<P align=left><STRONG></STRONG> </P>
<P align=left><STRONG>投以此湯，加生石膏六錢、芒硝四錢，下大便二次。</STRONG></P>

<P align=left><STRONG>上半身微見汗，諸病皆見輕。</STRONG></P>

<P align=left><STRONG>惟心中猶覺發熱，脈象不若從前之浮弦，而重按仍有力。</STRONG></P>
