<P><B><FONT size=4>潮熱者，屬正陽明胃腑，旺於未申，一日一發，日晡而作，如潮水之有信也，專主胃中實熱，燥糞使然，宜下之。 </P>
<P> </P>如熱不潮，大便不實而脈浮，表證尚在者，未可與承氣湯；候大便硬而燥渴，與夫自汗譫語，潮熱者，急當下之無疑矣。
